Und das tut mir natürlich leid. Aber Sie sind ja spezifisch für die wirtschaftlichen Policies zuständig, während ich - meiner Auffassung nach jedenfalls - alle Maßnahmen der Präsident hätte mittragen müssen.

Ich kann - unter uns gesprochen - die Gründe Ihres Rücktritts verstehen. Allerdings verlässt mit Ihnen eine gemäßigte Republikanerin das Feld, während es doch gilt, diese Position in der Partei erst einmal zu erhalten und im weiteren zu stärken.
Da stimme ich Ihnen zu. Jedoch ist die Position eines Vice Presidents mitnichten eine, die der Stärkung eines Parteiflügels dient, der konträr zur Präsidentin ist. Ich werde mich weiterhin auf Bundesebene engagieren und wer weiß, welche Möglichkeiten sich auftun werden.

Sie hätten durchaus etwas besser pokern können, Ma'am. Als Vizepräsidentin sind Sie gewählt und konnten nicht entlassen werden, egal was Sie gegen die Berater der Präsidentin getan oder gesagt hätten.
Trotzdem ist das für mich nicht die Rolle, die einer Vizepräsidentin zukommen sollte.

Was die Präsidentenberater nach rechts betreiben, betreiben Leute wie Scriptatore bei allen Verdiensten derzeit in Richtung demokratischer Identitätspolitik.
Es liegt wohl an uns, die Republikanische Partei wieder zu ihren Werten zurückzubesinnen.
