Inauguration of Governor Green

Honorable Commoners!

Ms. Green rückt als Vizegouverneur in das Amt des astorianischen Gouverneurs auf, nachdem der bisherige Amtsinhaber jenes verloren hat.
Die Assembly wurde hierzu zu einer Special Session zusammengerufen um der Vereidigung der künftigen Gouverneurin beizuwohnen.
Ich bitte die Genannte nun zur Eidesleistung nach vorne zu kommen.

Bitte heben Sie Ihre rechte Hand und sprechen mir nach.

Handlung:Fordert er sie auf und trägt dann den Eid Stück für Stück vor.

I do solemnly swear that I will preserve the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Astoria and that I will execute the duties of the office on which I am about to enter faithfully and to the best of my ability.

Ich schwöre, dass ich die Verfassung der Vereinigten Staaten und des Staates Astoria wahren und die Pflichten des mir anvertrauten Amtes getreulich und nach meinen besten Fähigkeiten ausüben werde.
