THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE


Honorable Representatives!

The question before the House is whether it shall agree to the Bill to be read by the Clerk.

Votes can be entered into the Records of the House by the Yeas and Nays. The presence of a member not voting will also be put into the Records if declared (Present).

An amount of 96 hours without increment is reserved for the entering into the Record. Records will be closed on this motion in the discretion of the Chair, if a majority on the motion is reached or can not be reached.

United States National Symbol Act Adjustment Bill
Section 1 - U. S. National Symbols Act
Der United States National Symbols Act wird durch folgendes Gesetz vollständig ersetzt:
United States National Symbols Act
An act to define and protect the national symbols of the United States.

Article 1 – The Flag
(1) Die Flagge der Vereinigten Staaten von Astor ist eines ihrer Nationalsymbole.
(2) Die Nationalfarben der Vereinigten Staaten sind rot, weiß und blau.
(3) Kleine weiße Sterne die die Bundesstaaten symbolisieren, bilden einen Halbkreis um einen großen weißen Stern der für die Einigkeit unserer Nation steht.
(4) Es sollen der Anzahl der Bundesstaaten entsprechend Sterne hinzugefügt oder entfernt werden, wobei Sterne immer am Unabhängigkeitstag hinzugefügt werden, der dem Beitritt des Staates zur Union folgt.
(5) Der rote (#9d0a0f) Hintergrund soll Tapferkeit, die blauen (#002258) Streifen sollen Gerechtigkeitund die weißen Umrandungen sollen Frieden symbolisieren.
(2) Die Flagge hat ein Seitenverhältnis von 3:5, wie in Anhang A abgebildet.

Article 2 – The Great Seal of the United States of Astor
(1) Das große Siegel der Vereinigten Staaten von Astor ist in schlichtem Weiß gehalten. Das Wappen ziert einen mit Schild und Lanze ausgestatteten Freiheitsritter auf seinem Pferd. Acht weiße Sterne sind kreisförmig um ihn herum drapiert und symbolisieren die Bundesstaaten. Der Schriftzug „the United States of Astor“ läuft am Rand enlang, wie in Anhang B dargestellt.

Article 3 – The National Anthem
(1) Die Nationalhymne der Vereinigten Staaten von Astor heißt „The Pledge of Allegiance“.
(2) Die Nationalhymne wird auf die Melodie des Liedes Star-Spangled Banner gesungen.
(3) Der Text der Nationalhymne lautet:

Thou shall loudly be hailed, oh land of the free,
Our deepest allegiance we pledge to thee.
United we stand in awe and devotion,
Singing songs of praise to our well-beloved nation.
May thy glorious banner enlighten our ways,
Us following stead'ly even through darkest days.
To victory and peace won by young, strong hand,
Thou, banner, shall guide our fatherland.

Laut lass dich rühmen, du Land der Frei'n,
Tief ist die Liebe, die wir dir weihen.
Inniglichst verbunden stehen wir hier,
Singen das Preislied der Heimat zu dir.
Oh stolze Fahne, geh du Licht uns voran,
wir folgen dir den Weg zur Höhe hinan.
Zum Siege mit junger, starker Hand,
Führen wir die Fahne fürs Vaterland.

Article 4 – The Capital City
(1) Die Bundeshauptstadt der Vereinigten Staaten von Astor ist Astoria City im gleichnamigen Bundesstaat.
(2) Der Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten, seine Regierung, sowie der Kongress und der Oberste Gerichtshof der Vereinigten Staaten sollen stets in der Bundeshauptstadt angesiedelt sein.

Section 2 – Entry into Force
Das Gesetz tritt eine Woche nach seiner Verkündigung in Kraft.
