Nachdem er merkt, wie ihn einige besorgt anschauen, richtet Richard wieder seine Krawatte, schaut lächelnd zu seiner Ehefrau, deren Hand er unbemerkt seit Minuten ganz fest drückt und gibt ihr einen Kuss. Dann schaut er wieder auf die Leinwand, denn die sprichtwörtliche Messe ist ja noch nicht gelesen.
