2013/10/04 - House of Representatives Amendment

Honorable Commoners,

zur Abstimmung steht folgender Entwurf:

House of Representatives Amendment

Section 1 - Purpose
Durch dieses Gesetz wird der vom Kongress beschlossene Verfassungszusatz ratifiziert.

Section 2 - Introduction of an Amendment to the United States Constitution
Der Verfassung der Vereinigten Staaten wird folgender Zusatz hinzugefügt:
    Election of the House of Representatives
    (1) Die Mitglieder des Repräsentantenhauses sollen für einen Zeitraum von zwei Monaten gewählt werden, und Wahlen zum Repräsentantenhaus sollen jeweils in den ungeraden Monaten eines Jahres stattfinden.
    (2) Fällt ein Sitz im Repräsentantenhaus vakant, so soll dieser nach den Vorschriften des Wahlgesetzes mit einem Kandidaten zum Repräsentantenhaus in der letzten Wahl besetzt werden, der bei der Vergabe der Sitze im Repräsentantenhaus bislang keine Berücksichtigung gefunden hat. Steht kein solcher Kandidat mehr zur Verfügung, so soll der entsprechende Sitz bis zum Zusammentritt des nächsten Repräsentantenhauses vakant bleiben.
Section 3 - Entry into Force
Dieses Gesetz tritt gemäß den Regelungen der Rechtsordnung von Astoria State in Kraft.
