zur Abstimmung steht der folgende Antrag des Senators of Freeland, Mr Norman Hodges.

United States Armed Forces Act Amendment Bill

Sec. 1 - Amendment
Art. 6 des United States Armed Forces Act wird wie folgt geändert:

    Article 6 – Unified Commands
    (1) Die United States Armed Forces werden in sieben Unified Commands untergliedert. Diese stehen den in ihrem zugewiesenen Wirkungsbereich stationierten Truppen als zentrales Hauptquartier vor.
    (2) Jedem Unified Command steht ein Offizier im Rang Lieutenant General oder Vice Admiral vor. Ihre Amtsbezeichnungen lauten Commander of the (Name or Shortcut of the Unified Command).
    (3) Die Commander of the Unified Commands besitzen in ihren Kommandobereichen die Verwaltungshoheit und oberste Befehlsgewalt über die dort stationierten Truppen. Sie sind direkt dem Generalstab unterstellt.
    (4) Die sieben Unified Commands sind:
    a) North Astor Command (NAC)
    b) West Astor Command (WAC)
    c) South Astor Command (SAC)
    d) East Astor Command (EAC)
    e) Overseas Command (OSC)
    f) Strategic Air and Space Command (SASC)
    g) Special Operations Command (SOC)
    (5) Die einem Unified Command angehörigen Stützpunkte, sowie die Zuständigkeitsbereiche der einzelnen Unified Commands werden durch das Department of Defense in einer Verordnung festgelegt.


Sec. 2 - Entry Into Force
Dieses Gesetz tritt mit seiner Unterzeichnung durch die Präsidentin der Vereinigten Staaten oder durch Verkündung in Kraft.
