Zur Abstimmung steht der folgende Antrag von Senator of Astoria State, Mr. Quinn Michael Wells.


Stimmen sie der Verabschiedung des Antrages zu?

Bitte stimmen sie mit Aye (Zustimmung) oder Nay (Ablehnung).
Abstention (aktive Enthaltung) ist zulässig.


Die Abstimmung dauert 96 Stunden und Ende daher Monday, 2nd of November, 2oo9 - 8:10 p.m.
Die Abstimmung gilt schon zuvor als beendet, falls eine unumstößliche Mehrheit feststeht, nicht mehr erreicht werden kann,
oder alle Stimmberechtigten abgestimmt haben.

Appendix I:

National Intelligence Act Amendment Bill

Article I - Amending the National Intelligence Act

Article II, Section 3 des National Intelligence Act wird wie folgt geändert:
Section 3 – Constitution
(a) Dem NIC gehören die Leiter der folgenden Geheimdienst- und Sicherheitsbehörden der Vereinigten Staaten an:
a) Director of the Central Intelligence Service
b) Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigations
c) General Commander of the Military Intelligence
d) Director of the United States Secret Service
(b) Ständige Mitglieder sind zudem:
a) der Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten
b) der Vizepräsident der Vereinigten Staaten
c) der Secretary of Defense
(c) Der Director of the Central Intelligence Service übernimmt als Director of National Intelligence die Koordination der Arbeit des NIC.
(d) Ist der Posten des Director of the Central Intelligence Service vakant, so rücken die Leiter der anderen Behörden in der Reihenfolge in der sie in (a) genannt sind nach.
(e) Die Behörden, deren Leiter in Subsection (a) aufgeführt sind, bilden die National Intelligence Community.
(f) Der Secretary of Defense, der Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten oder der Koordinator des NIC können weitere Personen für Sitzungen des NIC zulassen unter der Vorraussetzung dass zwei Drittel der Teilnehmer dem zustimmen.


Article II - Entry into force

Dieses Gesetz tritt am Tag seiner Verkündung in Kraft.

7 von 8 Senatoren haben ihre Stimme abgegeben.

7 Senatoren stimmten der Verabschiedung zu,
kein Senator lehnte die Verabschiedung ab
und kein Senator enthielt sich der Stimme.


Die Verabschiedung des Antrags wurde daher durch den Senat

zugestimmt.
