2014/01/03 - Standing Orders Amendment Bill (Speaker)

Honorable Commoners,

zur 96-stündigen Abstimmung steht folgender Entwurf:

Standing Orders Amendment Bill (Speaker)

Article 2 und Article 3 der Standing Orders werden wie folgt neugefasst:

Article 2 -Speaker
(1) Vorsitzender des Staatsparlamentes ist der Speaker.
(2) Die Wahl des Speakers erfolgt zu Beginn einer jeden Amtsperiode des Gouverneus. Zur Wahl ist eine einfache Mehrheit der abgegebenen Stimmen notwendig. Die Wiederwahl ist unbeschränkt zulässig.
(3) Ist der Speaker verhindert oder sieht er sich sonst nicht in der Lage das Amt auszuüben, so übernimmt derjenige verfügbare Commoner, der der Assembly am längsten angehört, die Sitzungsleitung.
(4) Der Governor soll von der Vertretung nach Sec 2 ausgenommen sein, es sei denn kein anderer Commoner kann das Amt übernehmen.
(5) Ist eine Vertretung nach Ziffern 2 und 3 nicht möglich, so kann der Speaker selbst eine Person bestimmen, die die Sitzungsleitung übernehmen soll.

Article 3 –Vacancies
(1) Vergehen zwischen einem Antrag oder dem Fälligwerden einer Amtshandlung des Speakers mindestens 48 Stunden, so sollen die Vertretungsregeln greifen.
(2) Die Stellvertretung soll solange andauern, bis sich der Speaker in der Assembly wieder anwesend meldet.


Stimmen Sie mit AYE, um dem Entwurf zuzustimmen, oder mit NAY um ihn abzulehnen. Ein Votum mit ABSTENTION wird als aktive Enthaltung gewertet.

die Abstimmung ist beendet, da die nötige Mehrheit bereits erreicht wurde.
Ich fordere Commoner Nina Cassady dazu auf, sich als neue amtierende Vorsitzende um die Durchführung einer odentlichen Wahl des Speaker zu kümmern. :rolleyes
