United States Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Act Amendment Bill

Section 1 - Amendment to the United States Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Act
Sec. 2 Ssec. 2 wird ersatzlos gestrichen, Sec. 8 Ssec. 2 wird wie folgt neugefasst:
    "(2) USAID koordiniert Massnahmen der Not- und Katastrophenhilfe und greift zur Gewährung der Hilfsmassnahmen auf einen Pool aus Einheiten des Katastrophenschutzes und falls notwendig der Streitkräfte zurück. Weiterhin können private Organisationen in die Massnahmen einbezogen werden, sofern diese dafür zur Verfügung stehen."

Section 2 - Entry into Force
Dieses Gesetz tritt gemäss den verfassungsmässigen Bestimmungen in Kraft.
